Perry Construction Group Helps “Make A Wish” For Local Child

We often take the simple things in life for granted and don’t realize some people can not enjoy something as simple as playing outside, because of the harmful effects of sunlight. Well, that is the case for a young boy in Wattsburg, PA. His family already purchased the red canopy you see in the picture but that didn’t work well enough. They reached out to “Make-A-Wish” to see if they could help. He needed a structure that would protect their son from the harmful rays of the sun to make their son’s life just a little better, normal.

EAS Carpenters and Perry Construction Group heard of the request and volunteered to build a shelter for him and his family to enjoy time outdoors. The structure has a sail for a canopy that is tilted to provide the most shade without encumbering the view or the breeze we all enjoy. Notice the smiles on the faces of both mom and her son. They are thankful and he is ready to use the basketball hoop, too. EAS Carpenters is a great organization and its members proudly represent their union as volunteers, o en working on community projects like this one.
